Newborn in Kode: Kodemetrics, The no-code and user-friendly tool to analyse experimental data
Kodemetrics, the no-code user-friendly tool for statistical analysis, enables exploratory and predictive statistical analysis, as well as experimental design, without the need to master a specific programming language.

December 4th 2023, Pisa – Kode, creator of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions for over 10 years, is launching Kodemetrics, the no-code user-friendly tool for statistical analysis, designed to make life easier for analytical laboratories and R&D departments. Kodemetrics is a tool that enables exploratory and predictive statistical analysis as well as experimental design without the need to master a specific programming language.
Born out of Kode’s experience in chemometrics, Kodemetrics aims to help researchers focus on the research aspects of their studies without having to worry about in-depth knowledge of programming languages. As a matter of facts, they are now essential for carrying out advanced experimental designs and analyses, but are often an entry barrier for many domain experts.
The features
This tool guides each user through a simple graphical interface, in the selection of all the parameters required for each step of the on-going analysis:
- Preprocessing, analysis and missing value removal;
- Exploratory analysis using Principal Component Analysis (PCA);
- Multiple linear regression model (LM), Partial Least Squares – Regression (PLS-R), Partial Least Squares – Discriminant Analysis (PLS-DA), Regression model for mixtures;
- Design of experiments (DoE) generation and download.
The tool is available free of charge with basic chemometric functions for exploring and modelling data. The Premium version offers many additional features, better suited for use by well-structured analysis labs as well as R&D departments within several industries such as chemical, pharma, biotechnological and many others.

Premium and Early Adoption
Today, Premium users already have access to Multi-criteria Decision Making and Optimal Designs generation. The team will soon add features, such as workspace saving, report generation and many other useful user services.
Indeed, the Premium version is currently proposed in Early Adoption mode. Early adopters will have the opportunity not only to test the Premium version but also to suggest possible improvements. All the tips and ideas collected during this phase will enable us to further fit the tool and its features to users’ needs.
Marco Calderisi, CEO of Kode, comments: “Over the last few years, Kode has worked hard to develop and release products that simplify life in the world of advanced data analysis. In fact, this is the vision that drives us: in all the fields in which we operate (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industry, logistics, healthcare, sport,…), our goal is to introduce robust and effective tools that enable our customers to use very advanced and up-to-date data analysis solutions without any special effort or expertise in data analysis”.
