Public cloud providers offer scalable AI infrastructure, as well as tools for collecting data, creating, training, and managing AI applications. However, on-premises AI can deliver the greatest business benefits most quickly and cost effectively. Accordingly, the stress tests conducted on a server instance of the SYS-111E-FWTR family (IoT SuperServer SYS-111E-FWTR) show how this on premises solution guarantees low latency processing of Big Data also for highly requiring computing power applications, such as:

• Video and image processing
• Image-to-text conversion

To guarantee a trustable solution, we’ve tested on Supermicro’s servers some of the most computationally demanding applications and models we developed, with the aim to deploy a pre-certified bundles of hardware and software on premises.
The loading tests conducted were designed to simulate real-world scenarios, measuring the machine’s response to varying levels of stress and demand.

The testing experience with Supermicro was characterised by close cooperation and support. We had 2 weeks to test a high-performance machine chosen from the needs encountered in the reported case studies. For these case studies, the machines that were put into production were in a significantly lower category. The tests were excellent and the machine provided to us by Supermicro met our predictions.
